Things now appear to be going “right” for stock and bond investors. The S&P 500 hit a recent low on Friday, October 27, as the weakest six months of the year was coming to a close. After the new week got underway, however, investors piled back into equities, as expectations for higher rates continued to unwind ahead of the November 1 end of the FOMC meeting and after Fed Chair Powell’s post-meeting press conference hinted that the rate-tightening cycle may have ended.
