Durbin Amendment 2.0: Credit Routing Competition, Senate NDAA Effort

There is a lot of noise around efforts in the Senate to include credit card routing competition language in the must-pass National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). As we wrote earlier this week, we maintain our view that odds are extremely low such legislation will be included as an amendment in the NDAA or otherwise passed by Congress in the next three years [Visa (V), Mastercard (MA), Citi (C), JPMorgan (JPM), Capital One (COF), etc.].
