While some stocks have continued to rally impressively in recent weeks, most price indexes have struggled to make headway above their respective late November/early December 2022 highs. This is despite exceptional positive widening in the spread between Demand and Supply, in addition to seemingly robust breadth and momentum. The arrested progress appears to be the result of a lack of unity in the advance that leaves lingering questions as to its sustainability. With this disunity and an absence of clarity in the outlook, selective investments in strong Demand areas, for more aggressive and nimbler investors, remains a logical approach.
