At times, the market lends itself to broad-based buying with a wide margin of error. Unfortunately, as evidenced for much of the last year, that environment is not present. This is not to imply that there are no tactical opportunities available. Rather, the prevailing investing environment demands careful focus on both screening criteria and visual inspection of the charts. For this week’s Industry Group Commentary, two “filter and sort” processes were conducted along with visual chart inspections to identify both attractive and unattractive Groups.
