Summary

The broad market has seen little change over the past few weeks, at least none sufficient to change our investment outlook. The trend from July remains to the downside, and the most recent intermediate trend buy signal, though positive, saw no upside follow through. In fact, negative evidence grew within days of the signal, and all major indexes dipped to five-month lows.
